Where do you get your dresses made
All Camilla’s beautiful dresses for her DVD and on Strictly are sponsored and made by DSI, a company specialising in dresses made for Dancing. The way the dresses move with the dancers body is very important, all of the dresses start out as a perfectly fitted body suit, the dress is then built on top of this to ensure that nothing moved at speed.
What type of shoes do you wear and how important is the foot wear
Camilla wears Dance Amo shoes which are especially made for Ballroom and Latin dancing. The shoes are comfortable and give support in the right area of the foot. Wearing the correct footwear makes it easier to dance. Rubber soles are not ideal and most dance shoes have suede soles which can be brushed with a specially made metal brush to prevent against slipping.
Is Camilla still dancing with Ian Waite?
Yes- Camilla is still dancing with Ian Waite and they are working together running their company “Truly Fabulous Events.”. Camilla is only partnering Brendan Cole as a one off performance for the Eurovision Dance Contest - which will take place in September.
